Monday Mix: Goodbye Mercury in Retrograde

A necessary farewell to Mercury in retrograde.

Have you been feeling weirdly lately? You’re not the only one. Starting on October 4, Mercury has been in retrograde, the phenomenon that occurs three times a year wherein the planet Mercury slows down and appears to reverse. This process makes us all go crazy. But on the bright side, I recently read this article about how Mercury in retrograde canbe a good thing because it forces you to slow down and internalize. It’s just a product of this magnifying process that everything else sort of falls apart. Which is all to say, our struggle is not totally in vain.

But since yesterday, we’re leaving this hellish brainsweat behind. We can all go back to enjoying autumn and delighting in all things pumpkin and brisk. So breathe easy bbs because the next few months will be cake. Until you know, January 21, where we’re back to having trouble conversing, logistical problems, and a general sense of disorientation and bummed out-ness. But this time will be different because you’ll be prepared with this playlist. Let’s get ready to feel y’all.
