Event: Potty Mouth on Tour

Potty Mouth heads down south for the winter.

If you're in the South over the next few weeks, you're in luck. Our favorite band from Massachusetts, Potty Mouth, is escaping the bitter cold that's currently taking over the Northeast when the girls embark on a two-week tour that begins on the 29th. They're stopping in cities such as Nashville, Raleigh, Athens, and New Orleans and will probably get to see some strange landmarks the deeper they get into the South. Their tour begins in Washington, D.C., at Tenleytown's Casa Fiesta, which has grown to be one of the more well known D.I.Y. spaces in the District over the last few months. Since I'm trapped in New Jersey and most likely won't be able to make it to their D.C. show, all of our readers below the Mason Dixon line should go check them out.

In addition to the tour, Potty Mouth is also releasing a new song from their upcoming LP. The track, "Damage", is a little heavier than the music on their EP Sun Damage, which is fitting for the winter season that's upon us. "Damage" shows a nice progression in style for the band, with intricate guitars and vague but striking lyrics. In the words of Chris Traeger, I literally can't wait to see what Potty Mouth comes out with next. Listen to "Damage" and find their tour dates and corresponding venues below.
